I have hunted an old home site for the past two days, about 5 to 6 hours total, and have found the following;

33 wheats 1 rosie 1 merc 1 Walking Lib. Half

Its been great, its just that I cant seem to figure why nothing older, why so many Wheats and no Indians? The house has an old blue stone foundation which I believe is from 1850-1870, maybe earlier? Is it that the older stuff is deeper. The wheats are showing up around 3"?
