I was metal detecting in Corinth, Mississippi this weekend. I found a lead brad, eylet, or rivet. Don't know exactly what it is (hubby says it's a brad). Anyway, it's made of lead and says on it "Kearney Div Atlanta, GA USA". I can find NOTHING on the internet. Could this be something off of a Civil War soldier's uniform, saddle, leather good? I can't find anything. Do they still make stuff like that out of lead these days? Anyhelp would be great!

Thanks,

Dee Dellaclair@aol.com
