Its hard for me to pick a faverite find i like so many of then, it could be the whole spur i found this year or the melted US belt buckle, or the mint condition ULSTER GUARD button i found but its probally just a plane old Eagle I button i found with my dad. We had not been hunting long (in a feild that was supposably hunted out) and i all ready had a nice GS button and a lot of melted lead and some caps. I got the weakest of weak hits with my dad standing right next to me. He did not think his detector was working right like he always does when i am finding stuff and he is not. but when he got done listening to the hit i told him that i thaught it was a button and that i just had that feeling. I dug down about 13 inches and out came a big clump of dirt and there was a great sound in it. As i slowly broke the dirt away out came a nice green eagle I button. But he did get the better of me digging a buetiful eagle breast plate right next to me.
