Last week I found an elephant in a camp of the 14th. corp. I have found many items in this camp and from all indications it was left there by the troups. It is just over 3" long,2" high, and 1/4" thick, and has a mounting hole in the middle. I know that the soldiers had a saying "See The Elephant", this may have some such significance. Has anyone ever seen anything like this?
