I am try to locate anyone that is serious about buying rare buttons - does anybody know of anyone! I have a Confederate navy Button which was excavated in Tenn. between Murfeesboro and Shelbyville. The eye is in tact and perfect, it is a two piece button with no! dents or dings and also has a very pretty lite chocolate color, all graphics on button are in really great shape and still raised. no corrosion what so ever from fertilizer. I have yet to find this button listed with the backmark that i have ( HEBBERT & CO. LONDON ) I think the first name may be mispelled though - perhaps it should be (HERBERT)? If any one knows of some one to contact please me know. Sincerely.
