Adam, I use a Fisher 1266x and I love it for relic hunting. It is the deepest machine on the market. I have dug a minnie ball at over a foot deep. You will have to get use to the snap, crackle, and the pop. But this is normal for the Fisher. This is a good reliable machine to turn on and go. Good luck, and happy hunting.
