coin hunting for a change

I took a break from relic hunting this week to do some coin shooting. There has been alot of construction here in town lately, so I decided to check out a site that a few houses had been on. The first coin I found was a 1900 Indian head. It registered as a screwcap on my Eagle Spectrum. Other Indian Heads have registred as screwcaps, penny/dime, dollar?, and pulltab! After that I found a 1917, then a 1918, then a 1919, then some from the 30's, the 40's the 50's the 70's a 1970 dime and then a 1999 state quarter. The odd thing is the coins were found in that order! I didn't find any silver. I am sure I was the only person to detect there. Maybe they didn't have any to lose. I usually don't post too many finds, but I thought that was an odd day. Wayne
