: The 60 gun Man'o War H.M.S. Tilbury went down in a hurricane on Sept. 24, 1757 in Louisburg Harbor. The H.M.S. Ferret, a smaller 10 cannon brigantine sank in the same storm. The Tilbury's captain was Henry Barnsley and the Ferret was commanded by Capt. Arthur Upton. You should be able to find all the details from the Cape Breton Historical Society.
