From: ww-tb02.proxy.aol.com - 152.163.206.88 Can anyone tell me who is currently working wreck sites in Ecuador. I worked there in 1976/77 and 78, and found some nice artifacts ( no gold or silver ) while living on the Isla de la Plata. It's part of the park system now. I took a return visit in 1995 and found the fresh water pit I dug with a fellow named Mike Ponyczianyi....There sure were a lot of bonehead pretend treasure hunters down there in the 70's. I imagine that has not changed. I plan to return to areas I worked in the coming years. How about land treasures? I saw a beautiful gold indian headress come out of the ground during excavation near Cojimiez. It is still with the family that found it. Thanks for any info.....Gary
