I have made several propwash deflectors for both outboards and I.O. units. First, make hinges from "U" channel steel and bolt them to your transom. Make extension arms out of angle iron out to your propellor. With the arms in place, fashion an elbow out of chicken wire mesh and cover it with fiberglass cloth and resin.
