WWI sub off Venice Fl

March 24, 1998 at 17:24:53

Does anybody have any information on a captured German WWI sub that sank while under tow from Key West to a port in N. Fl or Alabama for scrapping. Water front BS has it in 80 ft west of Venice, this places it near a ED wreck symbol on chart # 11424. I doubt it exists but there's always a chance.
