Worthwile Wreck

October 08, 2001 at 17:13:48

Odyssey Marine Exploration Inc. of Tampa, Florida announced today that they have found the remains of a 17th century ship that they have been searching for the last two years. The Sussxx, a British warship sank in the Mediterranean more than 300 years ago while carrying a payroll of gold coins. Odyssey says they found the ship in 3,000 foot deep water. Historical records suggest the coins on board may be worth up to $1-billion today! Is that worthwile? P.S. I couldn't print the correct spelling of the ship because this message board censored it! HOW ABOUT THAT!
