Jake: A question. What method was available during WWII to see 3000 to 6000 feet under ground? The Nevada bourder (Prim) is about 2800 feet which is about the lowest site in this area. We have spent a fortune on electronic equipment that has just been invented and we can't reach caverns or water at that depth. I guess you can invent just about any type of equipment you want when your writing the story. Steve C
