February 12, 1998 at 12:24:52WHY GIVE PROFIT TO DEALERS NO MORE FOLKS Here wer go again, no sooner is my back turned and the babies of the Internet show thier ugly faces. Some of the folks old enough will remember CB and some of the individuals that took over the channels. We called them bucketmouths. It didn't matter where you went they turned up spouting off their opinions with the intention of upsetting certain individuals with their views and opinions. Nothing's changed, only now they do it on the internet. Unfortunately certain individuals have whats known as personality disorders. Inferiority complexes, bring out the worst in individuals such as these, it's a form of mental illness. Upset my comments made by other individuals, these people derive great pleasure in their attempts to justify thier actions by attempting to discredit others. These people are described by the medical profession as being mentally and emot- ionally inmature. When someone say's something, they disagree with, they go off on a tangent, unable to stop themselves or control their emotions. They are in short emotionally unstable. Another term used, simply put is MAD. Although these days doctors prefer to call it a mental illness. During my stay in hospital, My son bought his notepad, pcmia and mobile in for me to visit some of the Forums. I'm no newcomer to crtitisism, I have written some contraversial material during the many years of my writing career. Most of it being highly appreciated by new comer's to shallow water metal detecting, because my articles are informative. Articles such as this generate new business for dealers sitting in their shops waiting for the next customer to come in. Dealers, forget, and never ask how that individual became interested in the hobby. They only want to make a sale and bank the dollars. Giving the customer a smattering of their knowledge in the process too. Some of those dealer's just happen to be the most ungrateful greedy money grabbing parasites imaginable. If someone comes up here and tells the truth about a certain product, they fly into tantrums, because it might affect the sale of a certain product. A product they invested money in to make profit from. The product, that they will take the blood, sweat and tears in the form of money from you, members of the BUYING PUBLIC the reader. In Australia, we have restricive trade practices acts, these protect the buying public. Manufacturer's who dont comply with certain conditions face heavy penalties. Manufacturer's are required by law to give accurate desripions regarding the goods they sell. However they are not required to mention anything about something that might damage or cause an individual to think twice before buying such a device. It really is amazing that since the introduction of the EXCALIBUR no ones told you about the 14 seals that are required to insure watertight integrity. Do you, the buying public realise what this means? In short in means that every dealer selling that product has known and kept silent about it. In short Dealer's have conspired between themselves to keep the truth from you. Now that I have EXPOSED this and am currently making the American Buying Public Aware of this, attempts are being made to discredit me for telling you the basic truth. Seals are what stops water from entering the control, box, all underwater metal detectors have them and all are highly vulnerable to break down and allow water to enter the control box. The more seals a manufacturer puts into a machine the greater the risk of eventual flooding and damage. Salt water and electronic dont mix. It only takes one grain of sand on a seal,(a tiny speck of sand) to destroy a seal and cause it to leak. Think about it. Every manufacturer of underwater metal detectors has experienced flooded detector's, Every single one, Including Minelab. People forget that one seal on the shuttle caused the destruction of the craft but it also KILLED THE CREW in the process. I'm currently getting a roasting from those individuals who stand to lose money because they happen to be the very same people who sell the gear to you without telling you the buying public, it's faults as well as it's good points. Or maybe in their rush and eagerness to grab those hard earned dollars of yours they conveniently forgot. I'm a writer, treasure hunter, I dont sell detectors for profit, I have out of the generosity of my own heart posted numerous articles promoting the hobby that you and I happen to enjoy so much. Tell me? where's the profit, from the information I post on this board. I wish I could see it, touch it, handle it. My profit, is far greater than any of these money grabbing vultures could ever imagine. It's the knowledge and satisfaction I get from Email's from ordinary folk who have gained something from my articles and efforts. In the 1960 or 70s Ralph Nader or Nadar made a statement,"ALL CARS ARE COFFINS, ON WHEELS." The automobile Industry were quick to respond, in vain attempts to discredit and silence the man. They used every dirty trick in their books in an attempt to undermine the credibility of the author. Today 20 or 30 so years later the truth of that mans statement is experienced on your roads every day. In August, one of the most expensive cars on the road, a mercedes benz killed Dodi and Diana, Princess of Wales. A mobile coffin? Ask yourself one question, what are my motives for informing the buying public, what have I to gain by Exposing something that's been under your noses for ages. The answer, nothing, I dont sell detector's I wont suffer any loss. But those who stand to lose something will jump up throw tantrums and make complete and utter fools of themselves in the process of attempting to discredit myself. You can see and witness their childish behaviour by going to the Minelab Forum. Where all these dealer's meet. They know one another but come up here on these Forums giving advice, in hope of one day making a sale amongst themselves. Like birds of a feather, they stick together, but they are all tarred with the same brush at the end of the day. It appears the ring-leader comes from Missourri, he's the BUCKETMOUTH. In one of his posts he mentioned that White's refused to accept him as a distributor. Crikey, the way that guy carries on up here on the forum anyone in their right mind can see the man's suffering from a severe personality defect, he is emotionally inmature, he throw tantrums, he is mentally insecure. No wonder White's wouldn't give a man like this a distributorship. No one would in thier right mind would either, would you? This individual is like a spoilt little brat, probably born with a silver spoon in his mouth and never done a days hard work in his life. He's always got what he wanted and was the first to jump and and complain when he didn't get it. He's either in his late 20s or a draft dodger, who has no respect for others. He's what's known in the Army as a mummy's boy, a jackman, a loner and user. In fact he's still using people to make a living off of. Being human beings, we are still animals, an animal that lives off another is a PARASITE. So by calling dealer's Parasite's I'm attacked for telling the truth once more. Anyone with any knowledge at all realises that the more parts you put into a car, the more parts are there to breakdown and cause problems. The same applies to underwater metal detector's, the more seals the more chances of a leak. Simple, plain english, something most people will agree with as pure LOGIC. However in this logical world we live in irrespective of what I say, they will contradict and say anything to discredit anyone who might damage business. There's an old adage that goes, "any publicity, good or bad is good publicity." I wonder how many free thinking individuals are going to invest hard earned money into a machine knowing the manufacturer's have put 14 highly vulnerable seals into it. Each one capable of drowning that machine. And if it does happen you'll be charged the grand sum of $500 for it to be repaired. What sort of manufacturer gives you a warranty in one hand and takes it away with the other. MINELAB DOES, warranties are not transferable, therefore if you sell or buy a second hand machine even if it's only one day old, you've lost your warranty. Minelab, it's distributor's and dealer's will fix it for you BUT AT A PRICE, you the buyer will have to cough up some more of those hard earned dollars for something almost every American Manufacturer would consider as standing behind the name and reputation of their products. The irony of it all is, there are a hell of a lot of sincere dedicated dealers in America prepared to help the general public. They, like yourself the buying public sit back in silence, read, learn and appreciate the knowledge acquired by trial and error. It's the best knowledge, anyone can be given especially, when it's handed out on a golden platter, for free. It educates, motivates, and creates newcomers, individuals that never knew anything about Shallow Water Metal Detecting until I started to put my articles on the Forum. It generates new business, business that they might have missed until someone inspired them into doing something interesting. There is always a rotten egg, apple or whatever, that can turn the rest of the fruit into something nasty and distasteful. It has been a privilage and a pleasure to have shared some of those experiences with you. My Email box sometimes gettting a bit crowded by the many individuals who have enjoyed my postings, and I thank them all for their kind remarks and comments. However, There has come a time, when I say, enough is enough, is enough. Those unappreciative, unscrupulous dealers do not deserve any spin off's they might get from my articles. They are in effect cutting off their noses to spite their faces. Not only is it their loss, but unfortunately, it is your loss too when I refuse to put anymore of my articles up here for you to enjoy. I had plenty of time recently to prepare a number of new articles for release onto the Forum. Pity you wont be able to see them now. Dont blame me, take it out on those morons and idiots motivated by greed and profit. I posted the Arthur story after much deliberation most people consider it a myth, fairy tale whatever. The same as Troy was until Heinrich Schlieman discovered it at the turn of the century after reading Homer. Arthur was a real person, who lived in the dark ages, we know where his parents his grand-father, wives and other family members are buried. Once the burial site of Arthur is excavated if any bones remain, DNA tests can be conducted on those of his parents. Being the Paramount King of Britain, Arthur would have been given a funeral befitting his status like Tuthankarmen. Like the egyptian Pharoe, Arthur was buried in a suit of armour made of solid gold. Much of Arthur's Kingdom is now owned by farmers reluctent to let anyone ont their property. This calls for research, sophisticated equipment that most of you will never see use or learn to operate in a lifetime. Devices like ground penetrating radar worth about $50,000, Magnetometer's $12,000, Super Scan and Pulse Star detectors. These are some of the tools used in this highly specialised activity, I endulge myself in today. This is the equipment I would have written and posted test reports about. Arthur's story is such an enigma that it will takes years for the average guy to research, I spent 14 years doing it. Only now are we so close to the truth, we can almost smell him, I was prepared to share that information with you guys. Unfortuneately a smart-axxed moron angry that I dare come up here telling the truth about his seals has put paid to that. You will just have to ponder about our progress. Life will go on, just as it always has done, it hasn't effected me one little bit, I have established and made a name for myself up here and hope I wont be forgotten in too much of a hurry. In closing, I give one piece of advice to those quick to jump on the band-wagon and attempt to crucify anyone. Sit back, learn, listen and gain the knowledge of others who have probably used more detector's than they ever would in a lifetime. Done more things with their life than they will ever dream of doing and probably would have profitted by it too. Let those with the BIG MOUTHS go out find a hidden treasure, then they might have something to talk about. I intend to post this on every forum I can find maybe then, those bucketmouths will get a bit of their own medicine from the people they deprived. That way you not only get it at trade price, you also put bucketmouths out of business, hurt them in the pockets, deprive them of your profit. Beat them at their own game. Anything the mind can conceive and beleive it can acheive. Go to it with my blessing, now Iv'e really thrown the cat among the pidgeons.
