There have been numerous efforts to find Benito's treasure at Queenscliff, Vic. None have ever come up with anything positive to indicate that Benito was even in the area despite numerous claims. Having researched this one myself I gave it up along with the rest. This doesn't mean someone wont find it one day, keep trying. Check out the library and museum in the township itself. Happy hunting.
