William French, Reflections of a Western Ranchman, volumes 1 & 2, might help.....a lot of the Hole in The Wall Gang evidently operated out of New Mexico at times, and some headquartered anonymously on the ranch where French was ranch manager in Luna County. He talks about a number of them. I'd look it up for you to confirm, but my copies are off on loan....don't remember who I loaned them to.

Seems to me the Ben Kemp book, Trail Dust and Saddle Leather had some stories about hole in the wall folks operating in New Mexico, as well.

Unless I'm mistaken, all three books are out of print at this time.

Best Wishes, Jack
