More afterthoughts: How would modern Mexican gold bars be associated with the numerous other objects found in Victorio Peak, such as a sword , made in the 1860s by an AUSTRIAN artisan for the elite guard of Maximilian ? And why would there be Spanish armor with the modern Mexican bars ? Or Spanish iron-cruciform stirrups ? Why would there be jewelry there? Why are many of the bars stamped with the name LaRue?? Why an ivory knife, dated 1579 ?? Scoffers would love to have us believe that Doc Noss was a con man and there was never any treasure in Victorio Peak--Just like the gov't used to say; that there are not even any caves in the peak, so how could there be any treasure stored in them ? Their argument goes in a circle and it begins with a lie ! I once attended a public propaganda presentation sponsored by White Sands Missile Range where their spokesman made that very claim ! At that time , I had already been inside of 6 of those "non-existent" caves!
