I'm afraid that's the case where a lot of lost treasures are concerned. I've never been able to find records that the Lost Adams Diggings ever happened, similarly. I still have a few places to check, and if it happens no records turn up, I'll have to believe that whatever happened, it wasn't what Adams claimed.
