Richard, you're the only one I know of who has come forth with a plausible explanation of this thing called the LUE. The 1930's German gold stash incident that you've outlined here and elsewhere is the only direct association I've heard with this treasure. The other accounts all talk about a big stash, but the "who, what, when and where" never seems to be spelled out. Whether your theory is correct or not, thank you for your time and trouble over the years trying to bring light to this subject.

As far as your solving of the map goes, I don't have a clue as to what you're talking about in these recent posts, but you seem pretty sure you've cracked it. The story is that a few others have also located the "X" over the years, but no one has gone on to exploit this cache. My understanding as to why it hasn't been recovered is that the LUE: 1) is located on government land; or 2) is booby-trapped; or 3) is buried so deep that it's unattainable; or 4) has some kind of mojo on it; or all or some of the above. How do you read this part of the story?
