Steve, I understand the confusion problems with the LUE, perhaps more then anyone else. I also have read many of the claims associated with the LUE. This is mainly why I say that ALL CLAIMS are good as far as I am concerned. I don't put anyone down. To me, it is possible that these people used an already existing document for their application. But the way I worked it, it only has one position of thought from this particular perspective. Some people are using the ancient art of se-xtants to seek the LUE source. One gentleman actually found a circle lined with rocks with a hole drilled in each rock. I was surprised. I asked him, from the focal point of all of the holes, How many inches are from the ground and the focal point? I never heard from this man again. These Code men actually went out and placed physical symbols at key point of the LUE. He got this one symbol with a se-xtant. I told him he has to locate two more symbols to have the total picture of the location. This type of responce blows people away. They ask, how does this dude know this? Obviously, I have been there before them. But the good news is, I do believe that what ever LUE solution technique that one persuers will end up at the same place. The LUE is the magesty of all codes to me. It cover hundreds of miles, and yet it is accurate to about 100 feet on all of the points I have seen. No possible code can be 100% perfect. In on area, I noticed an 800 hundred foot error in the design. I have still pondered why shuh an arror. Well, when looking at the land site. They used existing natural edifices for their layout. One of them is identical to the KEY cipher, if you can believe that? Gosh, the work of doing all of this. I guess they didn't have TV in those days? Steve, I love enigmas, as I did with the Drake question. The trouble is, one wants to shout it from the roof tops with the joy of the accomplishment. One can't do that, the worms will rush in. I have only had myself as counsel. I have made mistakes, but the beauty in this code is that one can go right back to that part of the puzzle and re-study it. The 800 foot error was done, because God made the earth and where God happened to placed key monuments was 800 foot off, so this error was incorporated in the layout. But the pun here is the seeker will be looking for a transit alignment and he will be off 800 feet. Steve, how I realized this is, because the Germans were digging 800 feet off of the transit alignment. I said, what dummys they were. Now who was the dummy--me. They knew what the code writer did. I didn't at the time. So, back again I go this summer with Geophysical equipment again. I'll get it this time. Is it booby trapped--maybe. Maybe the golden light I see will be the bomb blast? I hope not! Is it on Government property-no. Is it buried so deeply that no on can dig it out. Maybe. The geophysical equipment will scan down 100 feet. Steve, people really make Treasure Hunting out to be a walk in the park. To me, it a bear form the get go, and everything seems to be loaded against you. We have all seen the nasty things the green suits do to Treasure Hunters. Treasure Hunter are working on the abstract trying to put yesterday together again to reep what fortunes that they left cached then. Treasure Hunting is not at all easy. It's spending hard earned money for maybe in return. BUT Treasure Hunting just may be the last frontier in adventure. Richard
