Bill, you may be right. I've heard that yarn before. I personally think someone is fleacing investors! Maybe Drake was a liar with his code? Who can say? Neither of these areas has brought in one dime. However when reviewing this comparison realistically Bill,it doesn't seen to me that Drake would just toss silver over board in one area after traveling thousands of miles against all odds to get it in the first place. Then at Nova Albion, he meticulously camouflages the Queens silver for future English colomies. Could Drake have been paranoid? Maybe so. But in my analogy my purpose was NOT to raise money or sell anything. The State blocked my efforts and that was that, so I gave my finding to the public free NOT at the price of the public's gullibility. Readers need to use their own judgement and do their own research here too. The Drake code, of course, doesn't make the code true, and the state isn't going to see me get rich when they control the strings. I'm NOT Rambo.

Bill, the point I am making here, is that the Drake's code is physical and historical evidance. I'm sory I brought it up on this forum. It is NOT an undocumented sailors yarn that didn't appear in World Encompassed. What I used by NERS studies, were the exact records of Francis Drake at the UC Berkely Library. See for your self. This code is 99 percent accurate to the measured foot. To me, this is flawless. It was the army corp of engineers that ruined Ayala cove for archeological study in this matter, during world war one and two. Only Francis Drake, himself, can really clear up your suggestion. Historical investagations in no walk in the park 500 years after the fact. This is why yesterday is still such an enigma. I do the best I can. Others see value in NERS work. Richard
