Rob, When I first started Treasure Hunting, I was all over the romantic hills of the Gold Rush country. I loved the nestalgia of it all. I'll have to go back and conduct a NERS study there AFTER I recover the site I am workin on soon that has dominated 60 miles of the Gold Ruch country energy. Maybe with this recovered, I can eek out somemore caches. But if they're very small, I won't have a chance to read them. This case I'm working on is $80,000 in cold coins, cached allegedly from the mint in a robbery. There are other circumstances too. But what I am talking about here is that this IS NOT a large cache. I figure it is about 250 pounds. It might bring in twice the gold weight at around 2.5 million red book value, which will take some time to sell. So if this amount of rejected gold takes dominance of such a large area, then means that anything down Sonora California way will be less value than this cache. See what I mean. I heard the bath tub of gold coins story, but does it still exist today? Richard
