Cody, I will give you a guarantee. I'm just a New Mexico researcher when it comes to mines, but.... If the Lost Roades mines has anything to do with the Spanish one of the easiest ways to find the mines is learning how to read rock monuments.

If the Spanish found any thing that had value to it they made rock monuments that led to it. Following maps that someone said they found a long time ago are probably impossible to follow if they are real. The Spanish used rock monuments to mines because very rarely did anyone outside of the Spanish community knew how to read them.

I have found more mines and possible mines in areas that people have no idea the Spanish were in than anyone I know. Learn to use your eyes when in the field and you will find a world of knowledge before you that few realize is a viable field of research.
