The Confederate Underground is not a theory and nobody is making any claim other than the organization really did exist and they really did stash alot of wealth across America.. Some of their loot is fairly easy to find and recover. In posts on this forum are leads to some of this treasure. Most all of the symbols discussed here are, in fact, parts of Rebel treasure waybills. The one thing you must accept before you'll ever dig up treasure is this-brain power will help but logic must be thrown to the wind. The more you try to reason out what you are doing the further of the trail you will get. The Rebs thought of every logical meaning for a symbol and made it mean entirely something illogical.. Like your Little Treasure sign books say a 5 means silver. It don't it is the letter O, a 2 is the letter V. A staight horizonal line ____ is the number 7. See what I mean no logic at all there... Oh I just got to say this- a 7 really does mean gold but only in some cases it is also the letter S, usually given as a direction "South" unless in a series of other numbers.. One thing you should keep in mind is- North to the Rebels was and still is a dirty word, therefore their treasure layouts never used that direction.
