I used the TM808 for the first time several days ago. I was not prepared for the high sensitvity of the unit. Make sure that you don't use footwear that has metal hooks or eyelets. Remove all possible metal from your person,keys,knife,beltbuckle ect. The TM808 will detect that metal and if you detune the unit to allow for it you are not going to detect some deep / smaller targets that would produce a weak response. I wasted a trip because I did not take this portion of the manual seriously. Sorry I don't have a suggestion about how to keep your pants up :-) Rope belts for two box users could be the thing... who knows. Good Luck and keep up the search.
