Chief Victorio
December 26, 1999 at 19:25:21

Hi fellas, hope you all had a Merry Christmas. I've been doing some research on Chief Victorio and have some questions. Is'nt it possible that there are other treasure deposits by this indian chief than the Victorio Peak treasure. Since his raids covered much of New Mexico, Texas, and northern Mexico. This is some of the most rugged country in North America. It just seems unreasonable, after each raid,to transport gold or anything of bulk weight over hundreds of miles of virtually impassable terrain,to go back to Victorio Peak! I believe there are other treasure deposits by this chief greater than the "VP" treasure, possibly in the eagle mts. or the Sierra Diablo range. Anybody else done any research in this area. Thanks Mick
