Old Graves
January 01, 19100 at 13:18:52

A few months ago i was exploring some areas in the Big Bend area around Santa Elena canyon. On a small dirt knoll overlooking the Rio Grande i found a pile of rocks laid out like a grave site. I've found several of these in the past, but none ever gave any readings with a metal detector. Not this one, it pegged the needle out before i even made a sweep. Haven't dug it for fear it might be in the park. Anybody else ever had this experience? Have gps coordinates and are checking to see if it is in park boundaries. If its not, should i dig it? My curiosity is soaring, but i don't want to end up like a cat! Thanks, Tracker
