Beware of...

I trust everyone had happy and safe holidays over the past few days!
Looks like most of us are still here after the Y2K scare! Found
a little something that I'd like to pass on to a lot of treasure hunters
as well as others who like the outdoors! Oftentimes our dowsing
takes us into the outdoors where we'll encounter all kind of potential
"problems". The ones I'll address concerns our reptilian denizens.
Although primarily meant for the forthcoming Summer months, the
information below should be bought to the attention of us all,due
to the unseasonably warm weather many of us are experiencing!Such
weather gives us the opportunity to go out in the field and practice
our treasure hunting skills! WATCH OUT FOR SNAKES! NOW, AND THE MONTHS TO
COME! Fortunately we only have four(4) poisonous snakes here in
the US to worry about:(1)The Rattlesnake,(2) The Copperhead,(3)The
Coral Snake,and(4) The Water Moccassin.(50% of the bites from this
one often necessiates amputation!!!!!!)Here is a bit of information
taken from: PETERSON FIELD GUIDE TO VENOMOUS ANIMALS AND POISONOUS
PLANTS: "If it is beow 70 degrees, most snakes will be relatively
inactive. If the temperature is below 60 degrees, they will be hidden
and very still. If it is below 50 degrees, they probably will be
unable to strike out at all. If the temperature is above 74 degrees,
the snakes in the area are likely to be "hot" in more ways than
one, and they will be irritable and more resentful of intrusion
than at lower temperatures." Thought I'd pass this on to the group.
Don't want anyone walking upon one of these things unxpectedly.
I've never been bitten by one, but I have had an encounter with
a BLACK WIDOW SPIDER! :-( Never want to go through that again. "Drop
for drop, the venom from a BWS is just as dangerous as that from a Rattlesnake".
Many pleasant dreams to One and All
Full purses to One and All
And May the Light of Good Fortune Shine upon Everyone's face!
