Thanks for the temp info on the snakes. I've come close to getting bitten by a mohave in the mohave desert, and blacktales in the sonoran desert two days in a row. The temperature at those times was well above 90. The western diamondbacks seem to be much more docile and I can't even count my close encounters anymore, a western diamondbacks usually just go about their business. It seems different varieties and individuals have different attitudes. Best wishes, French
