I was camping out near the Apache Kid Peak, NM, several years back, and was told at the time it was one of Victorio's hideouts. The area I was in had a running stream during a very dry year. There were also a number of caves I could see in the area, but the people I was with weren't interested in checking them out. Not something you want to do by yourself.

Is there treasure there? Possibly. It's not far from the trade route from Albuquerque to Las Cruces, and it's right across the desert from Victoria Peak
