hi there i have an interesting story to tell when i was a teen i met an older gent who told me a story of three men who back in the twenties went back into the upper pitt lake area to look for this lost mine now he told me that these men discribed after they came out of finding a box like canyon after climbing a long ridge on the east side of the river up there (i seem to recall that he said pitt river) any way they made it back and an article was supposedly written about them in either the sun or the province papers he couldn,t remember but i wasnt ever able to find itany ways this article went on to discribe how they came back with some large amont of gold. your story is the fist time that i had heard anything even remotely like this discription of a box like canyon with a creek that dissapears . intresting eh well if you wish to talk give me a call on icq.

p.s. sorry about the spelling and did you get my 1st draft
