There are a number of explanations for the "All Seeing Eye" above the unfinished pyramid on the back of the dolar. You can go to the Treasury dept. web sight. A rough discription is That the eye represents the eternal watchfulness of a supreme diety. Above the pyramid that represents an unfinished country being built with the permanence of stone. The thirteen rows of stone being symbolic of the thirteen colonies. The other interpretation is that the pyramid is being built by Masons and the thirteenth letter of the alphabet is M. The roman numeral date at the bottom is 1776. The banner which reads "Novus Ordo Seclorum" Translates as Birth of a new secular order. An interesting juxtaposition of a secular govt on a god fearing people. There plenty of ways of looking at symbolism so to best understand it you must understand our founding fathers.
