Rob, a great idea! But for the serious Treasure Hunters, you might consider a listing of the Geophysical instruments like PGRs, EM- equipment & aerial surveys, IR surveys & false color, Geochemical, earth sounding edvices plus other Geophysical methods for locating massive cached or natural load noble metals.

Metals detectors walk over more Treasure then they find and who needs that? Serious Treasure Hunters won't take the time to find a hand full of lost childrens lunch money found at school. There's no romance or challenge in that.

But now for a ton of gold bars? That's a completely different story. And I believe that's the thoughts of 90 percent of the people that post on this forum.

Big dreams usually come with big Treasures, and big Treasure detection comes from expert geophysical technologies.

This makes perfect sense to me, because a 500 pound Treasure box will sink in the earth an inche per year if there is no restrictive bed rock. This means the good old buried caches will be found deep after 150 years.

Deep Treasures mean automatically Geophysical recognition and verification if we want to win rather then play. Lets take a look at Geophysical equipment on your forum Rob and see what is the best unit to use, rent, purchase or hire the scan to succeed?

Good luck and much success with your new detector web page Rob. Richard
