I don't know if this is going to b a double post or not but here its goes.

While metal detecting may b childs play its like I tell a guy in work. Just because it does not interest you does not mean other people do not find it interesting.

I must say I know next to nothing about the equiptment in your post. And I am sure a lot of people don't. But if you say that 90% would agree with you then maybe that would open sombodies eyes to a new form of hunting if you got those people to post something.

Show me there is interest in your end of the hobby and I'll be happy to include it in my forum.

As far as walking over a bunch of stuff. Hey thats fine. I am not out to score the mother load. If I did then that would be great. But its just a hobby that I can have fun with. I don't have the means or the time to play with the big boys. So I do what I can just like everybody else swinging a detector.
