Info on Idaho portion of Stage trail from S.L.City to Coast

Good day to you. I am looking for information on the route of the Salt Lake City trail that eventually led to the coast. I believe it passed through lower Idaho. Am interested in any information, be it personal visitations, stories related from grandparents, knowledge of the area and local history. I have ancestor(s) rumored to have travelled this route. Am planning a visit to southern Idaho to do more research. I am also interested in news events from that day and age, for that part of the trail. Any questions of me will be answered to my best ability. I fully intend to share any information that I am able to dig up on personal visit once completed. If waiting for my response, please be patient, I have limited access to inet. Much obliged for all responsed.
