Sorry Richard, I can't agree with you on this one. The Beale story was a hoax created by Ward. Do you think it's just a coincidence that Ward's grandfather had a duel with a man whose name just happened to be "Thomas Beale"? Therefore, the letter about finding the treasure must also be a hoax, created by some nut or writer... Jeff
