Megan... While dogs may be able to sniff currency in suitcases, I doubt if they can sniff buried currency.

Many years ago, I read an article that said a machine was being perfected to "sniff" gold in the ground. I believe it actually detected the mercury vapors coming out of the ground. I think it was in the Calif. Mining Journal. I wonder if it was ever built?
