The coins found on Coin Beach are said to come from the wreck of the "Faithful Steward". They consist mainly of counterfeit British half pence, although a few gold guineas have been repoted. John Kleeberg wrote an article about the wreck which appears in the latest coac series put out by the American Numismatic society. You can contact him at their website.
