More about the 1605's shipwrecks

October 11, 1999 at 20:10:15

Of the shipwrecks of 1605 of the armada of Luis Fernandez de Cordoba a lot has been written and it is still a lot to write. When requesting the royal favors, captain Francisco Calderon affirms that in 1605 he came embarked in one of the four lost galleons and that the he survived in a ship arriving in Cuba and losing all his money. In 1606 it returned to New Spain with the permission of the governor from Cuba, Pedro Valdes. The document found it in the AGI and he has date of the 1625. Future archive investigations rot us to reveal more data.
