USS Madgie @ Frying Pan Shoals

May 02, 2001 at 13:32:23

Charles or anyone: Am looking for information on the USS Madgie that sunk off Frying Pan Shoals in October of 1863. I have the logs that give positions and soundings but the position and depth do not coincide with info on current maps of the area.

Does anyone know of other accounts that could give additional clues on her position?
