A great uncle that died in the late 60's,was a trapper in the marshes of S. Louisiana. A very superstitious cajun,recanted on his death bed to my dad,also now deceased, of a a mast with copper plating or something of the sort attached to it sticking up out of the mud. he used the site as a land mark. The holds of the ship were also visible,although he dared not enter because of spooks for lack of a better word. My dad would not search for it either for reasons I will not go into at this time. Makes for a great family lost treasure tale. But a number of years back. I caught the end of a CNN or some such report that two men from the area had found something in the vicinity of where I believe it could be. QUESTION? How could I substantiate this story of the two men finding something?
