Wrecked sailboat

I'm in the process of buying a wrecked sailboat from an insurance company. My question is after I remove the hardware I want from the boat, how should I go about getting rid of the rest of the boat? The boat could be repaired but if no one wants it I will strip everything off and junk the hull. How do I dispose of the hull? The boat is 34 feet long and is located around Lake Erie.
Any ideas or suggestions?
