October 23, 2003 at 21:12:40

This is a post from the Mel Fisher forum if any of you can help it would be nice, thanx.
This is a MAYDAY! Three freinds are lost at sea between Naples Fl, the Tortugas, And Florida Bay. They are in a 24' hydrosport, single outbd., white on white hull, black lettering, name of vessel.."WHAT'S LEFT". 3 pob, 2 adults, 1 child. The boat is full of foam, shouldn't sink. They were last heard from Friday 10/18/03, at 1930hrs, while enroute to the fishing site on the wreck Baja California, 60 km sw of Naples Fl, 25.21.522N/82.31.901W. They were overdue Sat. 10/19/03 1800hrs. Search began Sunday at 1700 by Coast Guard. ANYONE out there who's on the water, or has info regarding extreme weather conditions, drift possibilities, any sightings of debris, or half sunk boats, etc., please contact me here, or at "rescuethree.org". These guys are very much worth saving, they are of a rare breed that will actually reach out and help people with all they have, and have done it repeatedly for a very long time. The coasties are scaling down the search and will soon quit, We have been searching as well in our own and borrowed aircraft, boats, and radio searches. Please assist in any way you can. No B.S. please, no time for that. Thankyou in advance for your time, efforts and prayers. Capt. Kym Ferrell capkym@aol.com
