It's part of a bracelet. I've found several sections of similar English silver coins linked together and was puzzled until i found a complete piece in an old jewelry box i got at an estate sale. I guess they were pretty popular souvenirs and the boys coming back from the War brought quite a few of 'em back for their sweethearts. Still a pretty nifty find that could probably tell a story or two.
