Thanks Edward for the advice!

I think Im pretty good at pinpointing and I have checked the sides of my holes as Bonny suggested too. My problem is, after say 8 inches should I just say to heck with it? Does anyone really find any good coins or what have you past 8 inches? I always leave my holes clean. I use a frisbie to put my dirt in that way you can detect over the plate. After Im done finding the object, I tip the frisbie right back into the hole and place the plug on top. It looks nice and neat! Would love to hear back on the above question. What is the average depth of your finds?
