Clint-
Going only on the statements that your token is aluminum and about the size of a silver dollar, I can guess that it is part of a series of 'discount' tokens that seems to have been issued from 1918 to 1925. There are many different types, but one is "Good For $2.00 on a Suit". Others include "...$2.00 on a Tire" and "...$1.00 on a Purchase of $20.00 or Over".
