First gold ring and wouldn't you know...

Took my brand new Bounty Hunter Landstar out for a spin today using the new 4 inch coil I got with it. I found a lovely sterling silver cross, a sterling silver St Christopher medal, a 1945 silver dime and My first gold ring. Just my luck I'm working a school and the ring is engraved RJP and inside Grad '81. I'm likely going to be able to find the owner and I'm going to have to give my first gold ring find back to it's owner. Well, at least I'll have the satisfaction of making someone day.The little cross , interestingly enough was so fine that it registered foil on the target I D. This is further proof that it pays to dig all solid signals. This also brings my silver coin count for this site to 37. 3 more and I'll have that 40, Mike from Wa.
