Snow Whites Watch.

August 17, 1998 at 00:52:25

Spent a couple of hours going over parts of an old college campus where I've been many times before with my Whites classic II. I found the face and inner mechanics of an old watch which says "Snow White" on the face. Also found an engraved silver charm off of a bracelet with a name and "Springfield, Mo." engraved on it. Then I pulled up a 1944D wheat penny. One of the final targets of the day was a 1897 Indian Head penny down about seven or eight inches. Things are thinning out at this location and I have to turn the discrimination way down and go for the faint signals then dig everything. Lots of tabs and tin foil. These finds aren't much but they keep me coming back. Happy Hunting! Bob
