Weird Token Found (help)

Any one have any idea what this token might be saying? It is a buffalo nickel that has been stamped with small steel letters. On the obverse it says,

Bad Fig -Curse- Mat. 27:64 Isa. 40:20 Deu. 16:21

The reverse says,

O Ross Is Roman Asherah Tree Bad Fruit

I recognize that there is a reference to the bible but those 3 passages make no sense to me. Does anyone else have any ideas. It was found in the front lawn of a Catholic school circa 1915.
