The swattika tokens like this one were first issued sometime between 1900 and 1910 and obviously fell out of favor when the nazis achieved power. Since undoubtedly a lot of these tokens were destroyed in a show of Patriotism, many (but not all) are quite scarce today. Those with a redemptive value are more collectable.

As far as the reaper medal is concerned, I think the company must have given them out with each piece of equipment sold. I've seen a number of them, so it isn't rare.
